A selection of video clips from around the area. I hope to add items on a regular basis, usually if a happening event is taking place.
Most of the clips are in Real Player format which I hope to remake in Flash format as this is now a more standard format for Internet video. Some of the older rm format ones are very low quality as they were made in the days of dial up connections!
| Wind Turbine Being Repaired - 16th April 2008 |
Wind Turbine Repair Heavy winds caused some damage to the Nympsfield wind turbine. As there were big cranes required to remove the broken part, a crack in the yaw (steer in to the wind) bearing) they replaced just about everything else at the same time. This is a short video of part of the repair.

Slad Road Flood 60mm of rain falls and the Slad Road in Stroud floods for a second time this year! Another video this time showing the river that causes the flood and a bloke in a canoe.

Slad Road Flood Heavy rain in the area brought flooding to the Slad Road in Stroud, which required two fire engines to pump it out.
