Well it has finally happened. To make way for the big long yellow bendy pipe thing (they tell me it's gas) (well, obviously the pipe isn't, the stuff it carries is) that has been slowly making it's way accross the common. They have closed the 'W'. We were of course expecting this to have happened some time ago, so it's no surprise. The signs for the closure are just past Tom Longs post, and at the cattle grid in town.

This means if you want to get to Nailsworth from the Aston Down/London direction, you need to divert through Minchinhampton and drop down towards the Weighbridge Inn. If you are coming from the Stroud direction, then just use the A46 or drop down to it by the Bear Hotel.
