Workmen have been busy the last few days making the finishing touches to the long-standing cattle problem on Rodborough Common. Large permanent signs have been erected warning motorists of loose stock, while somebody has been painting 40mph within large white ovals on all the approach roads. It's a pity that the signs will have to be taken down and corrected. Apparently, your not allowed to park within 15 yards of the road!
Here is an update to the above story...
In what can only be seen as a cost cutting exercise, workmen have covered up the offending words (the ones that tell you where you can't park) on the signs with some sack cloth, tied on with bits of string.
