It fell of the back of a lorry. Quite literally on Monday. The lorry, a large articulated device was rounding the bends at Inchbrook when it managed to spill part of it's load. Drawing many onlookers from Renishaws, it presumably made a fair old din as it left the truck on it's unplanned excursion.
A rather large and very heavy looking item of iron was sitting on the pavement in it's smashed up wooden packing crate. Needless to say the wall went with it. There seems to be something about the 'S' bends at Inchbrook. You often see a large car size gap in the fencing...
