Nailsworth Lighthouse - A Very Real Report.

It seems that changing the lightbulb in the town lighthouse was done just in time.

This morning broke (4th september) with a thick layer of fog in the valley and on the hills. The beam from the lighthouse could easily be seen penetrating its way through the murk.

A radio message from the old aircraft carrier HMS Insolvent (broadcasting on the shortwave band of 18.271MHz) thanked the town council for 'lighting' its path up past the rocks at Inchbrook. The stream is very narrow at this point and it's very easy to run aground on some particularly nasty rocks.
