In another attempt to stop the accidents resulting from vehicles hitting cattle on the common (or is it the other way around), another new sign has appeared on the cattle grid half way up Butterrow Hill, on the gate beside the cattle grid.

In case you are not aware of it, the cattle are still 'out', and as they don't carry any lighting, either front or rear you won't see them until they step out into the road in front or you.

Which they invariably do.

Then they just stand there, right in front of you, looking at the other side of the road. Makes you wonder doesn't it...
