Subspace Navigational Systems
NCFSR have been working on a Subspace Navigational System for some four and threequarter years and have finally come up with a working prototype. The prototype, shown below has now been switched on for two days and has not developed any strange faults. It does however have a requirement for a substantial amount of power, as can be seen by the cooling fans and heatsink. NCFSR engineers are confident that the power requirement can be reduced with a custom made chip that is based on 'nailsmos' technology designed at the centre.
The SNS device has the ability to compute in real time, the path for a fast moving space craft such as the Mars Equator Surveyor due for launch in May.
