Westley Farm Holiday Cottages | A choice of traditional stone cottages, offering a self-catering holiday on a quiet old-fashioned Cotswold hill farm near Chalford. The cottages are spread out over the farm and offer views as good as any in England. The web site also features a fascinating story of how a 36 foot catamaran was built on the farm for sailing to America. Read how the boat builders, who lived in a treehouse on site were offended by Julian, the farm owner for not shaving on the day he was invited to the treehouse for a meal!

There are 18,000 of them from all over the world, planted from 1829 to the present day, producing 600 acres of beautifully landscaped Cotswold countryside. Visitors to Westonbirt can wander where they please along 17 miles of paths or simply sit in a leafy glade and admire some of the tallest, oldest and indeed the rarest trees and shrubs of their kind in the world |
