In 1935 the mill was (and still is) known as Hacks Mill and produced umbrella sticks.

Location Brimscombe. The area to the left of the top image which is now a carpark was once the mill pond. Currently the main feature of the immediate area is that of a car scrapyard, while the building houses a number of smaller businesses.
